On Line Classes
Family Tools will begin offering this option in 2007.
Education via the telephone is the newest venue that Family Tools offers for parents, and provides a personal and more intensive educational option. One topic is offered over a series of 3-6 weekly sessions to allow for some teaching content by the facilitator, as well as time for interaction by the class members and some group coaching. As a follow up option, parents can also pursue personal and/or parent coaching for even more individualized assistance and encouragement.
Each class offered will have a class limit of 6-8 participants and will require a minimum of 4 participants. If the class does not fill up with the minimum of participants, it will be cancelled and a refund given or applied to a future class. When you register for a class you are signing up for the entire class series, whether or not you can "attend" via the telephone. Classes may be taped for further retrieval. The cost of the class includes the instructor's fees, all course materials, and the cost of the call.
